By next Tuesday (May 29, 9pm) email me your participation self-mark. In a single email, send at least these three things:
1. One sentence selfmark (“Overall I mark myself 100% for participation – I spent 262 hours on this unit total; attended everything, and asked lots of lecture questions; critiqued Monica’s final piece in week 8, 9, and 12; worked with other students; “etc.)
2. Copy of your timesheet (see unit guide to review what’s required)
3. Evidence of participation as required below
You may also send any other evidence you wish me to consider. Students in the past have sent me a summary of participation notes from homework forms; notable contributions to lecture or tutorial discussions; non-required posts to this google groups list; emails revealing effort beyond what was required – from me, from teammates on team projects, etc.
As a reminder, here are the marking criteria for participation (from unit guide):
· self-mark by the student weekly, in homework submission form
· Critique and reviews. Students are encouraged evidence of thoughtful and consistent reviews, either given or received. This includes brief, verbal critiques in tutorial.
· Effort. independent research effort (learning software, practicing and developing skills). Browser histories, list of tutorials completed, and any other evidence is encouraged.
· Time. Note hours spent on this unit.
· Student-submitted summary of mailing list participation (number of posts, evidence of thoughtful, quality posts)
