Hi,
This conference will be held at MIT, Friday evening and all
day Saturday, April 21-22.
Boston Socialist Unity Project seeks to bring about unity
through collective projects and educational events.
This year's theme focuses on the growing resistance to
Trump's agenda and the greater capitalist system that
produced him. Now more than ever we need to come together
and discuss ways to collaborate and strengthen our movements
and build independent socialist community and power.
The suggested donation $10, but no one will be turned away
for lack of funds. I recommend registering and paying at the
website in advance.
The website will be updated with further details as they
become available.
The Friday evening program includes rap performers "The
Foundation," singers Mat Callahan & Yvonne Moore, and
Mass. Teachers Association President Barbara Madeloni.
The Saturday program includes as major speakers
- environmentalist Fred Magdoff,
- Native American advocate Sherri Mitchell,
- and author/professor/journalist Vijay Prashad.
There will also be a session with presentations by
representatives of various political groups, and there will
be two sessions of workshops.
