Dear all,
The Board for Student Publications is proud to present the next episode of our segment, The First Conversation. This is a platform where one can breach the gap between the two sides of the podium in our classrooms, via a 'conversation' between both the faculty and the student community.
This time, Professor Narayanan Kurur has agreed to be a part of the event, to be held on Tuesday, January 24th. An alumnus of CalTech, he is one of the few people who quit a corporate job to get into the profession of teaching and research. He enjoys a quiet peaceful life, and can be often found running through the campus at 4am.
Lastly, this is NOT a lecture, as can be previewed from the video of the previous episode which has been uploaded and shared by us (with Professor Ambuj Sagar) on the YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihNpuHUqL9A&t=1s) and the Facebook page, and is more about resonance of your doubts in someone's life who has experienced it all.
So do attend, and inform everyone you can about it.
