Dear students,

1. Last date for AUDIT or WITHDRAWAL from a course is: 27 March 2017 (Monday)

[Last date for faculty approvals : 4 April 2017].

2. Please do not pressurize your teacher to show the marks of Minor 2, for the purpose of Audit or Withdrawal.

3. Your decision to audit/withdrawal from a course is to be based on, how you are able to cope up with the course so far.

Audit - Withdrawal process is available on the following link:

https://academics1.iitd.ac.in

(a) Auditing a course requires the approval of the course coordinator.
Please inform your course coordinator and request him/her to approve the audit request online.

(b) Auditing a CORE course is not allowed.

(c) Withdrawal from electives do not need any approval.

(d) Withdrawal from CORE courses are discouraged. For special cases, withdrawal from a CORE course needs a two-level approval: first level by course coordinator and second level by the Chairman, Grades and registration.

NOTES:

(i) The students have to check if all their courses are correctly being reflected in the academic portal. If not, please inform UGS/PGS by 27th March.

(ii) The last date for audit-withdrawal requests online is 27 March 2017 (Monday), and the last date for faculty approvals is 4 April 2017.  Please ensure that your approvals are done in time to avoid difficulties later. In case approval is not done, the audit / withdrawal would not happen.

(iii) UG students with a minimum earned credits of 85 (2013 entry and later) can only apply to audit a course.  Here: "Earned credits" means excluding Non-Graded Unit (NGU) credits. For PG students, audit courses are not counted as valid earned credits. Students need to keep track of this, and the system is not programmed to check this. This is for your information.

Best wishes
