Greeting of RoBoFeast-2016 !!!

It gives us great pleasure to introduce our 4^thedition of RoboFeast-2016 which is National Level Workshops cum Championship with different development platforms jointly being organized by Revert Technology Pvt. Ltd. &The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of IIT-Roorkee.We would like to entreat you to be a part of India's Biggest Robotics challenge i.e. RoboFeast. All the preliminary rounds will be held through selected 2-days workshop at only selected Engineering, Science & Polytechnic Colleges across India in the present academic year and the grand finale will be at IIT-Roorkee under the banner of National level workshop cum Championship.

All the participants who want to participate in RoboFeast-2016 are required to attend the workshop at any zonal centers.

Raspberry pi Development

· Setting up Raspberry PI

· Flashing loading the SD card with the OS

· Booting the OS

· Intro of items on the desktop (Debian Linux)

· Intro and hands-on coding of Python (comparison with C programming over Linux machines)

· Enabling GPIO pins

· LED interfacing using the GPIO

Arduino development

· De-bouncing

· LED blinking

· PC-MC Communication

· Use button as switch

· Counter using Seven Segment

QuadCopter Development

· Understanding the Electronics circuit ,Fabrication, Calibration & Testing of Quadcopter

· Learning about the working of accelerometer sensors, gyros and controllers - P & PI

· Hands-on experience of flying quadcopter using Radio Control

Gesture Controlled Robotics

· Black Line Follower

· White Line Follower

· Edge Avoider Robot Wall Follower

· Gesture Controlled Robot

Mobile Controlled Robotics

· Black Line Follower

RoboFeast’16 Competition Rounds Details

Stage 1st ( 2days Workshop will be held at zonal centers)
Stage 2nd (Prelims round of RoboFeast will be just after the completion of workshop )
Stage 3rd (Final round of all zonal center winners to be held at IIT-Roorkee campus)

Requirement for official Zonal Center

Seminar hall /Computer lab to conduct the hands-on session for all participants.
Projector/screen along with to cordless mikes for teaching & presentation.
This zonal center can only be arranged for a minimum of 60 students
2-days Accommodation to the Resource team from RoboFeast’16.
