Project-Based Learning Camp
July 12-August 6, 2010
Facilitated by Suzie Boss, co-author of Reinventing Project-Based
Learning.

Project-based learning takes time and collaboration to develop an
idea, connect it to your state's standards, and pull together all the
pieces. This summer, join us as we go step-by-step through the
process. It's a 4-week online camp and it's free.
By the end of the four weeks, you will have:
A project plan, including time lines and assessments
A variety of resources, including a reading list, useful websites and
downloads
A network of educators with PBL experience
Experience and confidence about moving ahead with your project this
fall
Participants will work together to brainstorm on the design of a
project that challenges students to respond to the Gulf of Mexico oil
spill, but we expect discussions will branch off in a variety of
directions as participants focus on particular content areas or grade
levels. You can bring your own project idea to the camp. It's all
about providing you with support, structure, and helpful feedback
during the project-planning process. And because it all happens
online, you can work from anywhere, at any time that's convenient for
you.
