Writing to Compare and Contrast

Unit 3... a graphic organizer I used to Compare and contrast England's Southern Colonies and New England Colonies in America during the 1600 and 1700's.

 

The box in the umbrella was a place for the topic sentence to be written.

 

Labeling the drops as culture, history, civics, geography or economics, the students wrote 2 or 3 differences and 1 similarity as spokes from each.

 

Finally a sentence in the puddle summed up the essay.
