The United Streaming website has videos to support the information in
these units. I used a video about government and there is also a Dr.
Seuss video to introduce the concept of diversity.
I read the Dr. Seuss book "The Sneetches" when we were talking about
diversity as well. "The Cat in the Hat" served as an introductory
story to government. We talked about the rules for home, then school,
then government.

I used a video on what it means to be a mayor. We are walking tomorrow to our township office to talk with our supervisor on what decisions they are working on in our community.
