Mercer County Math Circle Fall Update

Hello all,

As you may have noticed, there have been no math circles scheduled yet for the fall. The reason is that we are currently in the process of creating a new format for the math circle when it returns. We expect there to be math circles starting again in the spring and we will inform you when a schedule is set.

But some things that you should expect are dividing up our talks into multi-week mini-series which will cover larger topics in mathematics and go into them more thoroughly as well as possibly including preparation sessions for common math exams (AMC, ARML). Additionally, we are considering including talks given about some of the most interesting aspects of mathematics without going into the specifics of them. And these would be meant for students and parents who want to simply appreciate math and don't need a large background in order to understand.

Please let me know any feedback you may have about the new general framework as we are still deciding how to organize it! And I will keep you posted on when the math circle will start up again.
