Rates for Water Tanker

Dear All,

 

The existing vendor supplying water tankers has asked for hike, application for which is already submitted to our office. I request all the Tender Committee Members to come forward and assist in identifying a new vendor for the same who can deliver 10-12 tankers per day as per our convenience & schedule. Some of the quotations already sourced till date have been made available with the office. The hike asked by the existing vendor is effective 1^st Dec but we can pull him for a week or so till we freeze a new vendor.

Dear Member,

Our existing tanker supplier rate has been increased from Rs. 650 to Rs. 775 in December month and it has been increased to Rs. 850 in current month. As we were searching for new tanker supplier with competitive rate, we have negotiated rate of Rs. 750 with Mandhare supplier (our previous supplier) for period of year and if diesel price are increased then rate will increase to Rs. 775, not any further. Please note that water suppliers rate are higher in summer season as water availability is seasonal. This is the best rate we have got out of all quotations received from various supplier. 

In order to save society money, I am proposing to engage this supplier from Wednesday. Therefore, I request you to provide your view point at the earliest.

Hi,

750 Rs is reasonable and good deal . However Mahandre had submitted the quotation of 900 Rs per tanker in november so drastic change in price .

And also we were paying 700 rs ( not 650) per tankers till nov 2013.

I also suggest to negotiate with current water vendor and better to have tender in a weeks time , thanks.
