Dear MC elect and current,

I'd like to have your opinion on the invitations being sent out for 5th Year.

Currently we have limited capacity of 200 seats: 100 seats for members, 50 for partners, 50 for alumni, and 30 for parents/older siblings/extra members, 20 for MC elect/current).

The invitation list (https://docs.google.com/a/aiesec.net/spreadsheets/d/1scbMaHTWmtRikdlSwU-akzWGMuafPWUPzW2Odoh3mqk/edit?usp=sharing) has current partners and a few past partners of AIESEC. However, it does not yet include iGCDP or iGIP TN Takers.

Should we reserve more seats for these externals? If so, we may run a financial loss due to these seats not being sold, and may have to draw from the MC account to cover (perhaps ~$100/$150 to a high estimate of $300).

Please let me know what you think before we proceed with further invitations.

Thanks,

Jason

Hey all,

I have had a chat with Jason about this and we need supports from several people.
Melina will have review with current Financial cash flow, update May closing statements and June expense prediction.
While in the process of taking decision if we can cover loss from MC account, we need Exchange responsible to update us with list of TN Takers who are crucial to be invited.

I propose Rothkeo, Alladi, Cheata, Lin, and Chhanak to have short meeting and come up with approximately 10 TN Takers to be put in invitation list proposal.
Let me know if you need me to be there.

Looking forward for your response.
Thanks,

Inez

Hi,

How about the idea i gave to Jason before?
1 LC = 1 GCDP TN taker => 5 LCs = 5 TN takers = 5 Seats only
1 GCDP TN Taker: TN Taker who have the longest partnership or take the most TNs in the past or present. It is ok to pick them even they already dropped the partnership.

For GIP, maybe i have 2 or 3. Just put all the GCDP and the rest can be GIP. :) I'm flexible.

Hey Guys,

According to financial analysis, current cash in account and predicted expense

MC can help by paying only for 150 dollar for the event.

Cheers

Thanks Cheata,

I agree, and we need to move fast to invite those TN Takers - @Lin, @Chhanak, can we confirm them by Wednesday? Our OC will be sending out email and physical invitations this week.

Thanks,

Jason

Our event should break even if we have 85 members and 35 attending (currently we have 42 members and 17 alumni registered). We have around 30 alumni who are "considering" and may confirm. Their engagement should be higher as we will ask more alumni to film themselves to be a part of a video to be played during 5th Year. As for members, we have around 10 missing from both PP and RULE.

Hi Lin, Chhanak, Rothkeo,

Could you write a sentence about each LC's TN Taker project for me? I'm writing the script for 5th Year's awards section and want to introduce each of them like this:

"Please welcome Smart on stage for their support of Cambodian youth to go on AIESEC internships abroad"

Except I'll say that for all TN Takers, but I don't know the projects they did.

Please help me coordinate today,

Jason

the main activity is teaching children English in class.

the main activity is that EP design session and activities for students about: culture, academic and university life in home country, language, soft skills (communication, presentation skill, and project management)team building.
