Adjusting the printer platform

Hello,

Just purchased an Mbot 3D plywood kit. I am putting it together but I was wondering what is the correct position for the springs with the butterfly screws. How tight or lose do these screws have to be?

Raise the build platform to the maximum height, and adjust the butterfly screws beneath. The ideal distance between the nozzle and the build platform is 0.5mm-1mm (i.e. the thickness of two sheets of A4 70g paper). You can fold a piece of A4 70g paper in half as reference. Adjust the screws until you can pass the folded paper between the plate and the nozzle. You should feel some friction on the paper but still be able to easily pass it between the plate and the nozzle without tearing or damaging the paper. During the process, you can use “Level build plate” command on the printer menu to help adjusting.Besides,please put the machine in a confined small space when printing avoid any fan or air condition blowing.
