EQ Update

Brethren,
Happy Memorial Day weekend! I hope you’re all able to enjoy some time with family and friends… I wanted to take a brief moment to get some info out to everyone:
1) For those who haven’t heard, 2 weeks ago we had a reorganization of the elders quorum presidency since Alan Mowrey and his family moved away. Alex Spjute was called and set apart as the new 1st councilor, and Jacob Manley was called and set apart as the new 2nd councilor. Dave Klappoth is still our secretary. I’m excited to have Jake on board and I know you will be happy to work with him as well!
2) We have done some home teaching reorganization and some new assignments. (About half of the companionships have changed) By now, you all should have gotten a new or updated home teaching assignment sheet. If you haven’t please let me know and we’ll get that remedied.
3) For those new to the quorum (and as a reminder to the old-timers) our Stake has asked for weekly home teaching reports. This helps to keep our families on our minds more often and helps to keep the bishop and other ward leaders more updated. In our quorum we have asked that each companionship report to your district leader (a member of the presidency) on Sunday or Monday of every week, so we can get the reports in on Tuesday. We just need a brief report on who of your families you were able to see/visit during the previous week (if any). If you have any questions about who your district leader is, or how you should report, don’t hesitate to ask.
