Hello,

I am using MPS 2018.2 with mbeddr 1.0.20720.dcfc583-MPS-2018.2.3 (Nitghly build #601) allInOne installed per instructions on Ubuntu 16.04 x86_64.

The visualization display based on PlantUML seems broken.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Download and unzip the mbeddr tutorial
  2. Open the tutorial with MPS
  3. Open the Component example (examples/mbeddr.tutorial.main/defaultExtensions/examples)
  4. Right click on the "InMemoryStorage" component and choose "Visualize components + interfaces"
The visualization tabs opens but is empty (blank). I also tried with the "verificationInstances" instances with the same result.
I have no error messages in MPS logs.

All the above steps works in MPS 2017.2 with mbeddr allInOne_2017_2_0

Is it expected ? Where should I investigate further ?

Kind regards,

Michaël

Hello Michaël,

yes this is a known issue since a couple of weeks already (see https://github.com/mbeddr/mbeddr.core/issues/1940 for details).

But it looks that there is some progress now. Using the latest mbeddr build 1.0.20761.3e6d43b the PlantUML-based visualization features appeared to work again at my end. We are not yet sure if it works "by accident" or if its already a definite fix. So if you could give it a try and feedback right here, this would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Stephan

Sure, where can I grab the latest mbeddr ?
On Github, I already use the latest one.

Yes, it works again using the latest build.

Than you for your quick answers. When can we expect a new release of mbeddr ?

Michaël
