I must need new glasses, I can't make sense of this.  The two listings look like they are for the same shocks but the prices are different; what am I missing?

First ones (more expensive) are the heavy duty, second ones are the comforts.

Hi Ernie,

Go to the 'description' tab for each of the listings to see if the ride is described and different.  i.e., comfort vs sport.

Ernie,

The part #’s are different although both will fit your car.  I would call them to find out why one is $58 & the other $73.  There must be something special about the $73 set.  If not, buy the $58 one.

Thank you guys, I think that I'll go with the comfort ones; my sporty rear end is a thing of the past, I'm more for cushion . . . .  and just looking cool.

I'm going to remove one of the front shocks and check it out manually before placing an order.

Thank you all again.

Ernie,

You can test the shocks while fully installed.   Just get on the corner fender/bumper and press down hard a few times to get the corner rocking and let go.  If the car continues to rock up and down more than once cycle, the shocks need replacing.   In other words, the moment you let go of the car it should go stable with minimal movement in ONE direction.  i.e.,  If you let go when pushing down it should move up slightly and stop.

Thank you Dick, I just tested all 4 corners and all corners passed the test.  I think that you just saved me a lot of time and money.  As soon as the weather warms up a bit I'll go under the car with soap and water and clean this shocks up and make them look healthy.

You guys are the best, thanks again.

Ernie
