June 26th Toastmasters Meeting

Hello fellow Toastmasters.

BLUF - I will not be in attendance at Toastmasters on Monday. I have an all day doctor's appointment and I will not be in any shape to come out that night.

First thing first:

• Who can I give the timing lights, sign-up sheet, and other sundry items to for this coming Monday?
• We need a TMOD - who will volunteer? I will help put the agenda together and make calls, and drum up the excitement but I cannot be there physically. 

Another point I have been remised on and that is a conference call to assign/vote on new slate of officers.

For now we only need the President, one VP, and a Treasurer. Currently, here are the following nominations:

• President - Arthur Linder, Sharman Monroe, Udu Abalu, volunteer?
• VP Education - Rev. Brenda Girton-Mitchell (definite)
• Treasurer - volunteer?

I have the books for all returning and new officers. Remember, having an officer role will help you obtain your Competent Leader achievement. Anybody who is financial can be an officer. There is training. Develop your skill set!!!

I have a conference bridge and we need to do this sooner than later because I was dragging my feet. We need to have a meeting on tomorrow around 8:30pm. We only need 9 to have a majority. Please indicate if you are available and if not, let me know when. All replies are welcomed - whether you can or can't.

Also, we need two more members to pay their dues for us to be a viable club for this coming semester - please won't you do it. If you want but do not have the financial means, let me know in private and let's see what we can do.
