OCAMBAA is making steady progress.
1. Registrations :
We have to take it up ASAP to ensure maximum registrations are done at the earliest. A one time fee of Rs 500-00 is agreed upon for membership. I request that one Alumni from each batch can take the responsibility to collect from the batch mates & handover to Ravi D, Secretary , OCAMBAAA .
Presently, Ravi is on the job of making Registrations Online. In these days of technology driven culture, filling up forms in person & handing over is a major issue, It takes a lot of time, energy & does not workout as our Alumni are located in different places in India & globally. So, online is the way to go & by 3/10, we will get back with the development. An updated Alumni data base is also on the anvil.
2. Interactive sessions :
The fresh new batch of MBA students are joining in Oct as the counselling is in process. We propose to have an interactive meet with these students for 1 1/2 hrs. Any Alumni interested to join are welcome. We will also have a session with the MBA - final yr students -- Regular , Technlogy Mgt, Evening, Foreign students parallely.
3.Events & Programs :
We will be having Guest lectures & Interactive sessions by some eminent persons in next few months. Brigadier P Ganesham, National Innovative Foundation, Abhiram Krishna, Director, Southstate, Sr IT professionals, ex Head, NHRD, Hyd & other persons have agreed. I will be consolidating the list of events/ programs by this month end & sending it across.
4.Alumni activities :
One thing is clear. The future is going to be different with MNC companies & Indian Corporates becoming very choosy, Outsourcing is shifting to Phillipines, Indonesia, other third world countries, Global MNC"s are renegotiating contracts & no new job creation happening in India .
So, apart from Guest lectures, we need deliberations, views of our members on Entrepreneurship & alternate careers.
Let us make this forum vibrant & visible . Alumni need each other for several things . To start with , it is important to know how many of us are in Hyd / AP & we will have an Alumni meet at an early date. We can meet in the Dept once a month, say on a Sunday.
It will be informal & we can catch up on several things.

Let us resolve to make OCAMBAAA one of the most happening forums in Hyd & AP. We all can do it.
