Common Core Series for 2013-2014 starts next week!

Dear participants,

I hope you are having a great school year!  Next Wednesday, November 13 is our first meeting as the Common Core Series (formerly CGI Colloquium Series).  

We will meet at Gault school in Raven Graham's kindergarten class.  The meeting starts promptly at 6:30 and ends at 8:00.  Units will be available for teachers who would like to do an independent study.  Please see http://mbamp.ucsc.edu/indepentdent-studies/ for more information.

I'm happy you will be joining us again this year.  I'm not sure what her room number is, but it's towards the corner of Broadway and Seabright.  I will get there a bit early to hang up some signs.  Hope that helps!

Thanks for letting me know about the Vine Hill teachers Chris!  We should have a good turnout.  

Melanie, Raven's room number is A2.  It's on the corner of Seabright and Broadway.  I will have some signs out.

I don't have an updated flyer yet.  I will work on that this week!  

Here's what I have for meeting hosts/locations so far for this year:

December 11: Vine Hill School in Scott's Valley, Chris Smith

February 12: Ohlone School, Watsonville, Diane Sampson

March 12: San Lorenzo Valley Elem., Felton, Janet Stahl

I still need hosts for April and May if anyone wants to volunteer!
