Next Common Core Math Strategies Meeting is Wednesday, November 12!

Dear teachers,

I just wanted to remind you that our next meeting is on Wednesday, November 12 at Bayview Elementary in Santa Cruz.

The meeting will be held in Kathy Mitchell's room, Room 5.  

We will start at promptly at 6:30 PM.

This month's topic is Questioning Strategies, and will be led by MBAMP's teacher-leader, Louanne Myers.  

The meeting structure will be a share out from Kathy, our host teacher, presentation from Louanne, and time to talk/collaborate with colleagues.

Hi all,

Here is the official flyer for the Common Core Math Strategies Series.  Please feel free to hang up in your staff room and share with teacher friends.

The next meeting will be on December 10 at 6:30, at San Lorenzo Valley Elementary in Janet Stahl's Room.  (Room 1)

The topic will be "Make and Take."  We will have a short presentation about Rekenrek, and the supplies to make one. (or more!)

If there are a people who have already made Rekenrek, maybe we can "make and take" something else.  Shoelace number lines?  Dot cards?  

Please let us know if you have any ideas.
