Hey Committee!

Attached is a rough draft of the floor plan for the yacht. Please take a look at it and send constructive criticism, so we can get the floor plan finalized. The on-site activities specified to be on each deck of the yacht have been finalized, but I am more concerned about the number of tables and location of all the activities on that floor (in terms of how convenient it is). So...yeah :] Just "reply all" when you wish to send feedback. Thanks guys <3 and let me know if you have any questions about information I left out and such. Currently. I am trying to find out the total number of chairs and tables that will be on the yacht so we know how many we will have to store away.

Hey Committee,

Fantastic work with the draft of the floor plan! Looks really good so far!

A few things right off the top of my head though:

1. Are we not constructing floor plans for the top deck? Or is it just so less stuff up there that we don't really need one?

2. I remember that the original plan for coat check was for it to be located on the entering deck (with all the karaoke, casino, and raffle stations), do you think having  our coat check in relatively dark, noisy, and crowded area pose some kind of problems?

3. For the casino floor, would it not be a bit better to place the casino-tables/karaoke attractions on the dance floor (the center) as kind of a "main attraction" of that particular floor? And the,n have all the belly bars/cocktail tables surrounding that instead?

1. I don't think we need floor plans for the top deck (we didn't get the floor plan with dimensions for that). The cocktail tables and chairs I mentioned on the second page will be on the sides of the top deck.

2. The original plan was to have coat check on the bottom floor, because having it on the main deck would create too much traffic congestion, trying to get people on the yacht. I don't think it will be too dark on the bottom deck, but the sales representation isn't getting back to me on whether or not we can control the lights independently or if all the lights turn on together. When I meet up with the captain of the yacht, I'll be sure to ask him.

3. I was thinking about having all the casino tables on the dance floor (because the floor plan is just neater that way), but would it be too crowded to have all the casino tables together? I remember last year the area was super crowded. Then again, focusing all the traffic on one part of the floor might be more efficient.

i think it's good to separate karaoke and dance floor because they're both music and it'd be hard to hear if the were both on the same floor.

considering we have a bigger boat, i don't think i would be too crowded to have casino tables on the same floor as the dance floor, but if we did that, most people would be on the bottom floor. if you did move casino tables down stairs, i think you should switch it for photography????

I think it is good the way it is because if we put the casino tables on the same deck as the dance floor, it would be too many people on that deck and not that many people on the bottom deck. I think we should keep it like this so that people would be more spread out.

I agree with Wanda and Tracy.
And have you thought about where you would be putting or serving the food? Because last year, whenever we put the food out on the table, there would be a huge crowd waiting...

The "dancefloor" that it says on the main deck isn't actually a dance floor...its just a hard floor space for dancing. Sorry if that was confusing. The DJs will be on the bottom deck, along with photography and coat check. Casino tables, raffle, and karaoke are staying on the main deck. I just need to know if they are placed conveniently on those respective floors.

Food will be served as guests are waiting on the harbor to get on the board. Absolutely NO outside food is allowed on the yacht, which is stupid, but...whatever.

I haven't read all the thread yet, so I hope I'm not repeating too much.

Entry Deck: I think it'll be nice to have more space between the poker and blackjack tables because people do watch those too and huddle, which congests the area. Also the 3 belly bars on the left side (near the dance floor) I'd make it invert (from a v to ^ ) and move it closer to the karaoke. This would make a more direct path to the exit if ppl want to go up or downstairs.

Bottom Deck: Maybe consider lining the other side of the DJ with chairs too.

Question: are the sizes of the tables correct? The belly bars seem rather big. They seem to be 6 feet in diameter in the diagram. The 36" tables (=3ft) are obviously not drawn to scale. Do you want me to help you resize it?

Yes, can you help resize it please? Thank you <3 Oh, and I did attach the Microsoft Word document for anyone who wants to show me their ideal floor plan.

I changed the table sizes to be more representative of their size, but the floorplan numbers themselves don't look completely accurate.
