Dear Mr. ahmed
In June 2010 the MIBA program became accredited by the ministry of higher education and Supreme council of education (معتمد من وزارة التعليم العالي المصريه والمجلس الأعلى للجامعات الخاصة والأهلية). This is sufficient for our students who work for multinational and looking forward to continue DBA studies in any international institution.

In 2013, we received a few requests from our graduates to apply for a degree equivalency "معادله درجه اجنبيه بدرجه تقدمها جامعه حكوميه"  as this was an admission requirement specifically for those two Egyptian Public Universities offering Professional DBA programs. Furthermore, the majority of our graduates choose to apply for an International DBA worldwide which of course does not require the Egyptian equivalency. Regardless of the previously mentioned points, the management of the program decided to apply for the equivalency through the EELU in September 2013 (according to the newly stated SCU regulation number 579 issued on 29/09/2012) to offer the maximum possible support to our graduates (See Attachment 1#).The Supreme Council of Universities has already received all the necessary documents for the degree equivalency and a few weeks ago they formed a committee (لجنة معادلات الدراسات التجارية التابعة للجنة القطاع) from two Professors (one from Cairo University and one from Tanta University) that should take 4-6 months to finalize its work.

In terms of international accreditation and recognition; ESLSCA Business School is fully accredited by the french ministry of education. Moreover the school is a member of AACSB and EFMD, which is sufficient for our students looking for an international career or if they look forward to continue their studies abroad.

Dear Mr. Hossam,

I am an post graduate MBA student in ESLSCA and I have some questions that I tried to ask Smart Village Branch Manager about them but he referred me to you.

It came to my notice that Eslsca MBA certificate is not accredited in Egypt, as some colleagues who already finished their MBA faced a lot of problems in this regard. Therefore I need to ask about the below:

1.       - Is ESLSCA accredited in Egypt? i.e accredited from theSupreme Council of Universities-Egypt المجلس الأعلى للجامعات”? I was asked to provide my Birth certificate while applying for ESLSCA MBA program at the very beginning from the students affairs and this was justified to record my masters in Egypt “the Supreme Council of Universities-Egypt”. So why graduated colleagues are still facing issues and still can’t get the stamp of the Supreme Council of Universities of Egypt.

- My plan is to continue doing an academic doctorate (most probably in Nile University) I called Nile university and asked about that, they advised that this is not applicable until ESLSCA solve its issue with the Supreme Council of Universities-Egypt otherwise I have to repeat my MBA in another accredited University. Please advise whether this issue resolved or not?

- Please provide a list of all accreditation that ESLSCA has at the moment. And I suggest to have this list on ESLSCA’s website as from what I can see ESLSCA is starting to lose its reputation from such roamers and a you know from business point of view this should be cut off. I am saying that cause as an MBA student who has chosen ESLSCA would like to see the name of my “University/Business school” always recommended, at the end this should be a value added to me.

BR,
Ahmed
