My view is that we write a memorandum signed by all concerned to appeal to the Head, Higher Degrees Department to cause a reversal of the decision. The Presidents of both groups should cause urgent meetings at UMI on Saturday 9th June between 12:00-1:00 p.m or any other convenient time for each group to obtain the signatures and delivery of the memorandum to the Department. There will be no crime made.

Please find attached a draft letter that can be modified and the Group Presidents communicate to their respective members.
