Job Title: Analyst I – BRS-FMA-CRE-India


Job Purpose:

The BlackRock Solutions Financial Markets Advisory practice ("FMA") provides tailored and unbiased advice to holders of complex capital markets exposures:

§ Commercial loan level underwriting by valuing the underlying collateral for the US & European markets.
§ Specialized asset disposition services – typically for distressed portfolios in long-term workout, by re-underwriting the loans with an analysis on the markets trends & property performance, Valuation & Loss Projections advice.
§ Preparation of Asset Summary Report, Data Tapes for collaterals of securitized loans.
§ Creation od new CMBS deals issued in the market; apprise the CMBS deals on a periodic basis to analyse the loan performance and underwriting loan & property level cash flows for large loans to arrive at comprehensive loan analysis.
§ Creation od top layered loan level & loss level reports in order to run a more structured analysis on the CMBS universe.


Key responsibilities:

§ U.S. Commercial Real Estate – Analysis of propert financial statements, rent roll, borrower, market and other third party reports and provide a valuation opinion on the CRE loans.
§ Loan Servicing – Periodic servicing of CRE loans, re-underwrite, run loss projections & provide the disposition advice.
§ Structured Finance Securities – Data extraction from prospectus & trustee websites & subsequently updating the database. Providing Underwriting & Valuation review of the top loans.
§ Performing project specific quality checks & multi-tasking.


Knowledge/Experience required:

§ MBA/PGDBA (Finance) from reputed institute with comprehensive knowledge of financial concepts
§ Attention to detail, diligence & ownership of responsibilities.
§ Strong communication, presentation & interprersonal skills.
§ Exposure to Real Estate (Commercial or Residential) or Fixed Income Securities will be an added advantage.

Computed Skills:

§ Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Power-point).
§ Knowledge of Advance Excel, VBA & SQL is preferable.
§ Strong quantitative content knowledge and application.
