We thank you and BMA for your cooperation and support. We have carefully considered and discussed about your suggestion regarding the stipend amount during phase 1. We have limited budget allotted for this project and hence perhaps we could reduce the number of students, offering their services, from four to two and pay INR 10,000 each student in the first phase. Thus we will be meeting the stipend standards and our budgetary constraints. However we are ready to pay INR 15,000 per student during phase 2, as it involves a full month marketing activities.
If these suggestions are acceptable, please share the resumes of those students who are interested in taking up the task.

This is with reference to the telephone conversation you had with my colleague Mr. Victor who is a life time member of AIMA. We need the assistance of Bombay Management Association in a project we have undertaken and we sincerely hope that you can support us.
Briefly stating, VEISS Business Consultants is a business development consultancy with its registered office in Kerala. Our prime focus is in assisting global companies to introduce and promote their products and services in India.
For a short term project of one of our clients, we need a local presence in Mumbai for about 2 months. We plan to seek the service of student body of BMA for this purpose. This project involves introduction and marketing of ID card scanning software to 13 major banks in Mumbai. This project can be roughly divided in to two phases spanning across the months of January and February.
In the month of January,
- · We seek the service of a set of four students
- · For the first 10 working days, we expect them to
o Contact all 13 banks (List of banks shall be provided)
o Identify the existing ID card scanning and related data management system in use
o Identify proper contacts related to the concerned departments
o Collect at least 2 business cards of useful leads per bank
o Report daily in a pre-provided template via email
- · Budget for first month of activity is INR 20,000
- · After the first 10 working days, during the duration of next 2 weeks, they should make and submit a detailed report of their findings, data collected, barriers they came across, how they overcame those difficulties etc.
In the month of February,
- · Two among those four students will be selected and awarded with a marketing project of one month
- · Daily reporting in a given format via email is expected.
- · They will be compensated INR 10,000 each.
This is the rough gist of this project. I would also like to mention that, if the results are satisfactory, there is a possibility of long term association with VEISS Business Consultants.
