Subject: Compiling and releasing your EM product presentations

Hello All,

You might be remembering that during the first EM class, and also the final EM class, i was discussing about the importance of the product presentation assignment - the most health friendly, socially responsible and environmentally responsible product/ service. A few of the reports has been posted on a blog on an experimental basis ( http://indiatopresponsibilitybrands.wordpress.com/ ).

These reports would possibly be having a positive benefit for the community - for example, a consumer looking for a socially and environmentally responsible product may use your report to make her/his purchase decisions. I've shared with you all, my idea of collecting and compiling these reports and bringing it together in a book-like format, so that it could be distributed. Reports in a book form may turn out as a guide that can aid in purchase decisions.

Guiding philosophies based on which this work will be done, are as follows:
1. Some hard-copies of the report will be printed, and will be distributed on the mode of "Pay As You Wish" mode. All revenues generated from this mode will go to support the Breakfast Club initiative, initiated by PSGIM. This report will be released as a social responsibility endeavor from PSGIM.
2. To ensure that the community needs are given the top priority, this report will be made available online, for free, in such a way that anyone from any part of the world, can download it, for free. This report will be released with a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License ( http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ ). The report will be released online, before it is released as a hard-copy.

In the reports, the following privacy/ communication factors will be taken care of:
If any student prefer not to have their name included in the presentation they have done, it will not be included.
If any student would like to have their contact email id/ phone number included, it will be included.

To present a good collection, i need your help. As as you would be knowing, the reports will need to undergo quality upgradation - these reports could reach people who are well-read in sustainability, senior business professionals, members from the civil society etc. So, there is a need to upgrade the report in terms of research, images used, visual presentation etc. Here's how you can contribute:

1. Be part of a team that will create and design this book. You can work online/ offline.
2. Improve the quality of the content of your product presentation report, and send it to me.

I would recommend that students visit the campus and work along with me on the report creation. For the people who would be willing to give efforts as part of their report creation team, the following will be taken care of, though am informed that it could possibly be a trivial aspect for you:
1. Lunch/ Refreshment expenses
2. Travel expenses to the institute
Full-time commitment expected, though am willing to look into flexi-time options also. If you are about to join a company, you may give the time available before you join the company.
