A modern RTC chip for the MB03+

The MB03+ Ultimate has a new Real Time Clock chip - the DS3234. There were several reasons for switching from the old chip used in the MB02 to a new chip with modern parameters.

The DS3234

• is a low-cost, extremely accurate SPI-bus real-time clock (RTC) with an integrated temperature-com-pensated crystal oscillator and crystal;
• incorporates a precision, temperature-compensated voltage reference and comparator circuit;
• integrates 256 bytes of battery-backed SRAM, in the event of main power loss, the contents of the memory are preserved.

You can synchronize time via Wi-Fi connection using programs Time Sync and Wifi Connect, download the latest versions from the website http://mb-maniax.cz/mb-02/

The MB03+ simultaneously allows to read ports of the old RTC, so older RTC software will work.
