Hello, I am Elena, I am 27 and Italian native.

I am writing in the response to the application form for the Information Technology and translation Intern, for Synverse Technologies

 

I have a BA in Translation and Interpreting, confirmed by the Scuola Superiore di Mediazione Linguistica per Interpreti e Traduttori, Ancona (Italy), in 2009 and a MA in Translation and Interpreting also, confirmed by the Universidad de Valencia (Spain), in 2011. The languages I am specialised in are Spanish and English.

 

I lived in Valencia for more than 3 years, I studied and worked there as a in-house Translator-interpreter and administrative assistant for a Luxury Real Estate Agency, so I got the chance to achieve a very high level of Spanish. Some of my key roles in this Agency was coordinaing the group of translators (12-14 from all over the world), translateing articles, interpreting (the languages I work with are Italian, Spanish and English, indifferently), answering phone calls and emails and recieving visitors.

This experience introduced me in the labor market and now I need to grow, from a professional point of view. This is the reason why, in this particular phase of my life, I believe that what I need is to perfect my English level and I consider that this traineeship is perfect to work and stay among people who speak English as well: it is one of the best opportunity I have ever found.
