Call for Applications for Internship at EU Delegation to Ukraine
The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine is seeking an intern to
assist in activities linked to EU-Ukraine Cooperation (Operations
section), with a focus on communications. The internship should last
between 4-6 months.
Required Education and skills:
Completed undergraduate degree in international relations, environmental studies, communications or related field.
Working knowledge of Window (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Advanced working level of English and Ukrainian
Strong coordination and team work skills.
Strong writing skills (in Ukrainian and/or English), and experience in Communications.
Expected tasks:
Supporting the preparation and implementation of EuroVillage 2012,
Communications Event on EU-Ukraine Cooperation, to take place in Kiev 2
June - 1 July (parallel to European Football Championship). This
includes coordination of EU-funded project contributions and quality
check of proposed communications material and activities.
Reporting on EU-Ukraine Cooperation Activities, including photography, for Newsletter and EU Delegation Facebook page.
Review and editing of communications material in Ukrainian.
Gathering, translating and consolidating news & information and preparing reports related to Energy and Environment
Drafting correspondence and preparing documentation for Call for
proposals and resulting contracts in field of Energy and Environment
Communicating with colleagues, applicants and other interested parties related to Energy and Environment cooperation
Supporting the organisation and follow-up of meetings, public hearings, debates, press conferences (occasional interpretation).
Participation in external meetings, round tables, conferences in field
of Energy and Environment, Culture and Communications (including Press).
Please note that Internships at the Delegation are not remunerated and
the intern is responsible for covering all costs related to travel and
medical insurance.
