Dear Soc. team member,

My cousin saw following on notice board...
1. Maintenance - 2800 Rs per month
2. Soc. infrastructure charges - 1000 Rs one time
3. Property Tax -> 5652Rs + 5652 Rs =  11304 Rs

Question/Clarification
b. I paid 2 yrs maintenance charge with flat payment so why I have to pay Rs 2800 now? According to me, 2 yrs will be completed in Feb 2009. Pls clarify
c. am I going to pay property tax in future,  or I will pay Society and Society will pay?
d. Currently no one in my Mumbai house so will be able to give cheque in last week of this month. Pls let me know if you see any issue.

Thanks for raising your queries.
As it is already mentioned in the letter, M/s Hiranandani has given us
an overall deficit account, which is yet to be discussed, debated and
resolved with the builder. We have also recieved the breakup as Flat
wise and some 10 to 12 Flats a/c is shown in Positive. This will be
discussed in detail in next AGM and will be decided upon in reference
to our resolution with Hiranandani. Thus if your a/c has come as some
Credit Amount then ofcourse it will be duly discussed in your presence
during AGM and an appropriate decision may be taken.

Meanwhile to maintain the society, we need an immediate fund and we
are collecting minimum amount as a lumpsum basis based on the
expenditure shown by Hiranandani. For the time being, we need minimum
fund immediately to maintain the society otherwise we all will be in
trouble. Pls. note that this is only the lumpsum amount for a month.
Property Tax bill has come for Mayflower building as a whole at
present. We may persue with TMC to get the next year bill as billed
flatwise. If there is any development then accordingly, every member
will get notified.

further clarification then pls. meet us in society office on Sunday
between 10.30 to 12 PM.
