Dear Residents,
We are conducting a survey to streamline:
a) Waste management in the colony, and,
b) Update information for Directory, Google Mail & My gate App (including the safety feature in the app for uploading car numbers of residents).

An email requesting details of people staying in Mayfair has been recd which needs a slight modification...
1. The info is requested by RWA and for RWA which means Resident Welfare Association... Thus in place of Name of owner / tenant it
should be NAME OF RESIDENT
2. The RWA is for Welfare of all Residents ...
3. kindly also note many residents in Apts are family members of owners who do not live here or are no more . But the residents are the actual occupants ...Please do not confuse RWA with Society, which I am noticing for the last 27 years here.

Though no one has responded to my query I am yet sending my details, and providing after that some food for thought for the many welfare oriented minds here....

I take the liberty of writing the below points as, being a part of MG since Feb 1994,almost 27 years now, for several years I was part of the trials and tribulations of the RWA and Society, and the residents may recall also did try to help out in several matters .....but the matter has not been satisfactorily resolved, exposing many residents to much inconveniences--- (which the Residents WELFARE association should pay attention to)
The RWA is a platform to ensure Welfare of all Residents of any local linked-community of people --- Resident includes the occupant - whether tenant or owner or family.
Once the properties of area are now Freehold, there is no relevance of the defunct Society of the area.
The society is defunct as since 2001 no real time (valid or authentic) elections have taken place- whatever maybe the reason.
The Society is defunt as more than 50% so called 'Members' have consciously withdrawn themselves from the Society (rightly, as it has no meaning for them in their freehold property)
The Society however is on Ventilator because required formalities to bury the invalid patient have not taken place.
To give a peaceful farewell and burial to a patient in coma lying on deathbed, What is needed is very simple ---- all relatives ('members') sign and agree that the Oxygen pipe be pulled out ---- in practical terms a small letter is made specifying that the area is operating under a registered RWA and society is defunct and we agree that the Society may be winded and file closed at ROS, as we are managing our independent separate accounts for the Bungalows and Apartment expenses 'members'. Rhe Apartments have the freedom to form own Mayfair Apts RWA (not another society!) or become a sub-section RWA of the main MGRWA.
This will reduce unnecessary yearly complications, guilt, manipulations etc that are not healthy for a progressive set of residents.
I take the liberty of penning this after detailed discussions with senior officials in the ROS office over last couple of years (wherein I was informed that just a few 'members' are creating the blocks in winding it so asked if I as the person who initiated the efforts of RWA under Ambwani ji and Dr Pushpa Chandra, may initiate the Garden residents to give signed letter for closure of society, as then both Garden and Apt are liberated from the guilty actions that are forced on them due to prevailing condition of the common ancestral patient in coma!).
