Dear Residents,
It is the endeavour of the RWA to organise for its members as many activities as possible through the year. This is done consciously, keeping in mind the wellbeing and interest of residents. Such activities also provide all of us the opportunity to get out of the house and interact with our neighbours.
The various health camps held in the colony are excellent examples of the above. However, the poor attendance by actual members has been very disappointing not only for the organizing committee but also the healthcare institutions that bring us this service.
A lot of time and effort is devoted towards putting up these camps, right from identifying the healthcare institutions, negotiating with them, selecting relevant tests, to overseeing on the actual day of the camp. In fact in the last camp held recently the RWA also distributed discount cards to members of the association who are up to date on their maintenance payments.
In case a majority of the residents feel holding health camps is not a worthwhile activity we could consider discontinuing the same.
There are a few camps in the pipeline and we hope to see more residents attending in the future.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Pushpa Chandra
