Mayan EDMS Windows

Any guide on how to install Mayan edms on windows?

I'm trying, but i'm getting a bunch of errors.

Hi Fernando,

There is no install guide at the moment for Windows.  The way Windows supports Python, Django, the libraries and binaries necessary to run Mayan is different than the way the POSIX OSes support them.  The only way I have managed to get Mayan running under Windows was by using cygwin.  But I haven't tried in a while so can't say if it would install with the current version.  For Windows I usually recommend using VirtualBox or similar and install on a virtual Ubuntu Server image which is the most documented platform for Mayan.  However, be sure to share your results even if they are not complete or successful, they could be the beginning of official support for Windows.

SH (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/sh) is used to call executables for which there is Python library equivalent. If SH doesn't work on Windows, you can try removing it and using a direct method of calling executables: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/89228/calling-an-external-command-in-python/92395#92395

When installing on Windows and the sh install fails, an error message appears to install pbs 0.110.  Is this a message from mayan?
