Both solutions don't work. Thanx although.

We also contacted support.

try deleting your mediacache directory

Many applications under windows require that the user is a local
administrator on the system.  Maybe that is it.

Hi together,

we just wanted to take a look at the new old Maya Composite which comes with Maya 2010. But no way to get it running (on Vista64):

As normal user it says: “Media cache must be readable and writable.” and quits. The media cache directory is readable and writable. User Account Control [UAC] is also off (one posted solution in the AREA).

As Admin we get the following fatal error: "In OsFile::performGetInfo: C:/Programme/Autodesk/Autodesk Txik 2010/plugins/libDLanimation.dlview: Access denied". The user Admin has full access to the file says Windows!?

Any tips?

Thanx
Lars
