Secret Life of Pets renderer?

Anyone know what renderer was used on the Secret Life of Pets?


It's a great looking movie, definitely as good as anything Pixar has produced.

They use their own from what I understand, MGLR.

The name is : Symbor (a very very very old software.....)

Actually, Symbor is the name of the in-house software that encompasses more than the renderer (I think it's a fork from Explore).
It's indeed a very old piece of software, with an old school ui.

As Matt said Mglr is the correct name of the renderer, and despite of the aging user interface, this one is definitely not a very very very old software.
I asked here if we could give more details about it, but all I got is a no.
