Mash flight>attractor problem: cant use more than one attractor

Hi All
I'm digging into Mash's flight feature and have hit a hurdle. I have two animated locators in the scene and want them to both act as attractor objects. the UI has a list that you can add multiple transforms to but it seems that only one (the last one added) seems to work. Has anyone else come across this (maya 2017) ?

Can anyone shed any light on this or even just confirm the issue? I'm sort of stuck. (Ian W.?)

Hey Gerard,

Sorry for the delay, I’m mad busy at the moment. Sadly it looks like you’ve found a bug - and I can’t see an obvious workaround, I’m really sorry about that. 

Are you trying to split the Flight network between two attractors?

I’ll get it logged and fixed in a service pack.

Hi Ian. Thanks for the reply. Yes I'm trying animate a number of alien ships to chase a helicopter. I need to vary the flight path of the ships - ro randomise them a little)  so that they don't follow the first attractor so perfectly. I need to add a little complexity into their flight path as they chase and torment the chopper. Can you suggest other approaches? I'm going to take a look at preditor/prey controls but I thought these needed attractors.

Hey Gerard,

I’ve done a tutorial (I’ll put it on YouTube soon) about Predator Prey, it’s working fine in 2017.

Another approach would be adding a Signal node to add some noise to the motion - remember to then add an orient node (velocity mode) so that the ships point in their direction of travel.
