VRay for Maya Batch Render Issue

Wondering if anyone might be able to help me figure out what this error is.

[2015/Jul/26|14:26:55] V-Ray error: Cannot write output image file

Every time I try to batch render my scene it will only write out two frames then stop saying "render completed".

I've never seen anything like that. You should contact Chaosgroup.

FYI, I reached out to Chaos Group and they said the upgrade should fix it.  I did the upgrade to VRay 3 and the problem went away.
