Hi, I must be missing something obvious here. I'm trying to snap a locator onto control vertices of a linear curve. but holding 'c' or 'v' doesn't make the locator snap.

What am I doing wrong? (maya2010 win32)

Make sure "world space" is selected under the move options ;)

you want to use "v" to snap to point.
but it may be "ON" already so you are toggling it off using "v"
check the status bar, make sure it didn't get turned on up there.

Thanks guys but still not working. I can get the locator to snap to verts of polygonal objects merrily enough but it's ignoring the linear nurbs curves I have in the scene.

Frustrating.

Yep :(
Going to the pub now. That usually fixes things.
