I think someone mentioned that you can prevent the hypershade from displaying shape nodes when graphing a material from selected object (which, obviously, should be the default).
I've been all over prefs but can't find any way to do this. Is it possible?

rt click in the hypershade workspace to get the marking menugoto Display ->and you should see 3 radio buttonsAll Shapes , All Shapes Except Shadiing group memebers , no Shapeschoose "no shapes" for no shaoes
