I heard about this, but I haven't really been doing much heavy production with maya 2018,

but I seem to have hit an issue, where when I frame, basically anything in 2018., it sends the camera ....... some where !??!

the trans values are all nan ,and the center is nan

resetting these values, doesn't seem to bring the camera back. and "resetting to default" doesn't seem to do anything either.

anyone know the trick to fixing this issue?

right now I'm just deleting and remaking persp cameras

 thanks

 well,  I did find this.

which basically says to reset the TRS and then default view. . ( and so far.. this works)

Solution:

Please follow these steps to reset the perspective Camera.
  1. Delete all unnecessary cameras in the Outliner
  2. In the four-Viewport view (default), press Shift + f to frame all Viewport cameras around a selected object (the perspective view will most likely be unaffected)
  3. In the Perspective Viewport, select View > Select Camera
  4. With the camera selected, navigate to Modify > "Reset transformations" (Translate, Rotate, Scale should all be checked in options)
  5. In the Perspective Viewport: View  > "Default View" (this resets your "Center Of Interest")
