Hello everyone,

This beta release shows a very cool new feature - silhouette rendering!
Big thanks goes to Patcha Saheb Binginapalli for writing this implementation!

To use the tool, simply enable the "MM Renderer" renderer from a viewport's "Renderer" menu, then click the MM Renderer option box to select the MM Renderer Globals node.
Finally, click on the Silhouette > Enable attribute check-box to enable Silhouette rendering.

The following attributes can be used to control this new rendering mode;
- Depth Offset - Controls the detail/artifacts of the silhouette lines.
- Width - The width of the silhouette lines.
- Color - the RGB colour of the silhouette lines.
- Alpha - the opacity of the silhouette lines.

The silhouette lines can be rendered as well as "Wireframe On Shaded"-style hidden line rendering.

See the screenshot attached to this email for an example display of the effect.

We are hoping to get feedback of:
- Stability or unexpected visual artifacts.
- Performance (compared to default Viewport 2.0)
- Any other issues.

See the release notes for other updates, including the bug fixes to Create Controller 2, the core Solver, and new user preferences for loading Markers.

You can download the new beta from the GitHub releases page:

Thanks,
David
