Hello everyone,

I'm excited to announce two new releases of mmSolver that I've been working on over the past few months - v0.5.4 and v0.5.5 are now available with some significant improvements for matchmoving workflows.

Enhanced Center 2D Tool - The biggest update is the major overhaul of the Center 2D tool in v0.5.5. You can now center on multiple objects simultaneously and work with mesh components (vertices, edges, faces) directly. This has been a long-requested feature that will streamline centering workflows significantly.

Fixed Center 2D Offsets Window - The horizontal and vertical sliders now work consistently, and the connected camera is properly displayed, making the tool much more usable.

Improved Solver UI Experience - The Solver UI in v0.5.4 is now cleaner and faster with the Root Frames list removed and helpful tooltips added throughout the interface to provide documentation right where you need it.

Better Camera Solver Quality - Fixed important issues with the Camera Solver that improve both quality and performance, making camera solves more reliable.

Maya 2026 Support - Build support has been added for the latest Maya versions.

These updates also include a fix for the mmImagePlane2 crash when ImageCache is set to zero and various other stability improvements.
