Silhouette renderer edge detection doesn't update in playblasts

Hi, David. I found that when playblasting in the silhouette viewport renderer, the silhouette doesn't update in the output frames although it is updating when scrubbing the timeline. I tried playing around with the playblast options but there's not much to choose from. Any idea if this can be easily fixed or worked around?

Someone else mentioned this to me, but didn't explain as much details.

Hey Paris and everyone,

Thanks a bunch to Paris for raising this issue and helping me to debug the issue!

Some of the details can be found here:

The new v0.5.0.beta4 release contains a completely new implementation of the shaders for MM ImagePlane (bumping the version to v2) which fixes this problem.
