Hello everyone,

Today I've released v0.4.4 which contains some solver fixes, Blender/3DE inter-op workflow fixes, and Marker re-distortion tool fixes that were released in the v0.4.4.beta* versions.

Have a look at the release notes for the full list of the changes:

You can also download from here:

This release also contains the accumulated fixes and features for the MM Renderer toolset, however the feature has been disabled by default since it's not ready for production yet and probably won't be for some months. For users interested in testing and/or implementing the MM Renderer, mmSolver will need to be compiled with the CMake build option "MMSOLVER_BUILD_RENDERER" enabled.

Thanks,
David

Hello again,

I realised that in the released Linux binaries I had incorrectly enabled MM Renderer.
I have re-built the Linux binaries with MM Renderer disabled, and replaced the files on GitHub.
If you've already downloaded for Linux, please delete and uninstall the v0.4.4 file you downloaded and re-download the latest files from GitHub.

Additionally, I have retrospectively added initial support for Maya 2024 on Linux, although it's not been tested well.
Maya 2024 is only supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8, or Rocky Linux 8 and will not work on RHEL 7 or CentOS 7.
A Windows build of MM Solver for Maya 2024 will come in the next release.

As usual, if you have problems installing or using MM Solver for any of the versions, let me know so I can address the issue.

Thanks,
David
