MaxScale 2.5.1 available for download

Hi,

We are happy to announce that MariaDB MaxScale 2.5.1 GA is now available for download. This is a bugfix release.

New Features

  • MXS-3015 Sort attribute lists returned by maxctrl alphabetically
  • MaxGUI can now be accessed in a testing mode without configuring SSL. For more information, please refer to the MaxGUI document.

Bug fixes

  • MXS-3072 Failed to query server 'server1' for user account info. Wrong number of resultsets to multiquery
  • MXS-3052 kafkaCDC how to set GTID
  • MXS-3041 QC bug with keyword handler
  • MXS-2996 Query Type of 'SELECT ... LOCK IN SHARE MODE;'

Hey Markus,
Thanks for sharing this useful information. But am not able to restart maxscale after upgrading for version 2.4.11 to 2.5.1 on Ubuntu 16.04  Linux machine.

Hi,

Seems you're using the legacy maxadmin interfaces which have been deprecated and were finally removed in MaxScale 2.5.0. Please remove the sections that use the cli and maxscaled modules.
