I have vor Servers which are all Master and Slave to each other, so each server has three masters and three slaves.
If I try to put an Maxscale read-write-splitter in front of them , no master is detected. It seems, maxscale checks for slave status first, finds it of course and then stops looking.

How do I set up a config that will convince Maxscale it should take server3 for master and server1,2 and 4 as slave?

Please help, I have been sitting on this for a week !

Kevin,
thank you for your quick answer which solved my problem. I should have written earlier.

For some strange reason, my version didn't even have the mmon-lib with it. So I didn't even know about it.
After updating to 1.2.0 I was able to use it and it works as expected.

Regards, Harald
