Crashing when connecting to instrument

We have a QE classic Tune 2.12, each time I opening it then click on the Q-exactive instrument type and then connect instrument the program crashes. Log file is empty.
We are very interested in trying the prioritized method, any advice by anyone who has tried it would be appreciated.
