Error trying to create scan protocol

We installed MQ Live on our QE+ that is using Tune 2.11. It picks up the instrument and is in Listening Mode. However, after we create a new scan protocol and try and save it, we get the following error (see attached image). We've tried downloading the software again, using different ID numbers and alternate scan protocols but the error is always the same.

One thing I should mention is that the install of Windows 7 has no updates on it because we were having problems with an (unknown) update cause communication problems with the software that controls our Waters M-class chromatograph. Could it be the lack of a certain update that is the problem?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Matthew,

This should happen if your .Net framework version is not 4.7.2 but lower. Please make sure that you have the right version installed. You can download it here:

Thanks Christoph. I didn't realise that the Xcalibur installer put on 4.6.2. My apologies for not checking. It seems to be working fine now.
