Dear Dali,
no problem I can share my experiences with you:
So basically I followed the instructions provided with MaxQuant.Live download and used the magic scan option. So, besides installing Tune 2.9, you need to also install MQ.Live and connect it to your instrument, then MQ.Live is in "listening mode". Then you can create a new BoxCar method from the default settings. I have attached screenshots of my settings (aiming to re-create the settings used in the original MaxQuant.Live paper) and at the bottom the default settings. I basically changed the number of boxes from 12 to 10, full scan IT and settings to adjust for the abilities of a QEPlus compared to an HF system.
The description of how to set-up the magic scan is very good and you should easily be able to re-create this from one of your default XCalibur method files, I used all steps (including step 3, which is not required but recommended) and it worked nicely, so far.
Unfortunately, I did not have the instrument capacity to fully test yet, but we are currently creating new library runs to benchmark BoxCar runs against these.
Good luck with setting up your experiments, let me know if you have any further questions!
Best regards
