Precursor ion selection in BoxCar

Dear MaxQuant.Live developers,

I have a question regarding precursor selection in BoxCar. According to the BoxCar paper (Nature Methods 15, 440–448 (2018)) "Suitable precursor ions were selected from the preceding full scan, applying the same criteria and settings as in the standard shotgun experiments", however the manual for MaxQuant.Live claims that "Since Version 1.0 the N precursors are taken from every Boxcar scan". Could you, please, clairify, if the precursor ions are selected from the preceding regular MS1 scan or from BoxCar scans.
