Citing MaxEnt

I'm trying to figure out to cite the actual program of MaxEnt for my
thesis. Could anyone help me out?

I think it is enough to just cite Phillips et al 2004/06/08 and state that you used the program. You could also include the web address where it's downloadable.

Here is how we have cited it in a published paper-
"We used Maxent (version 3.1; http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~schapire/maxent/; Phillips et al. 2004, 2006)..."
